A community resource needs community knowledge
RPG Data Project welcomes people who want to make tabletop RPG data more accurate, understandable, and useful. You do not need to be a programmer to contribute.
- Check the catalogue. Help identify core books, editions, and English releases, with reliable supporting sources.
- Map communities. Suggest public subreddits and Discord servers, and explain which games or families they cover.
- Review the method. Help us recognise bias, avoid double counting, and make comparisons meaningful.
- Make the data useful. Contribute analysis, survey design, clear writing, accessible design, or technical skills.
Say hello
Email rpg-data-project@pm.me with a little about your interests and the kind of help you would like to offer. A specific correction or a single well-sourced suggestion is welcome, too.
If you are suggesting a correction, include the game, edition, relevant source link, and what you believe needs changing. For a future published release, also include its month.
The project is currently defining its methodology and building the website. There is no minimum time commitment to get in touch.
